Don't believe the hype mate- personally I think it's a load of shit.


Back on topic though, if you want some flutter with your car, you really need a new intake pipe- one that's not ribbed, like vr401's:

Either that or get the second gen adjustable SSQV- I have had a few of them and they seem to flutter pretty good. You just have to play with the spring tension to find the point that you like it/want it going off

Mine is stock, flutter doesn't work on the stock piping setup at all. even driving with windows down, only boosting to 5psi you get bugger all.

Like CLuTZ said, get yourself some Alu piping/stainless piping (ALU is best for it) and you'll get a good dose noise/flutter, though I would recommend also doing whole lot whilst you do it.

Flutter is fun, but at high load, not so fun. So if you don't boost your car hard, it's ok... but if you're hammering it.... not so good.

Come to think of it, my wagon flutters at low boost, but simply has the whip sounds under heavy boost.

And the atmo on that is wound off pretty loose. Just a cheap JJR brand (just Jap) decent unit for the price.

And the more boost you run the louder it gets!

I got an evo8MR bov, and it flutters when you let off when its spooling and only got a few psi of boost. Wont flutter when your on boost and let off, which it what you want.
