Hi all,
Is there a guide or advise on what to check when looking at GSR's and it's like?
What do you think they are worth? price range - it seems like the red book has totally different values.

Any advise welcome!
Cheers

mate atm gsr's are very easy to find with really good mods done mostly with the 4g63t bolted into them, price range can be up and down you can usally pick a decent gsr up for 7000 to 15000.

things to look for as far as i know

rust in the roof (bubbling) check if the roof has been replaced
cv boots and joints
steering rack
services of the engine
most bushes on the car
modifications plates for engine mods

hope this helps mate thats as much as i know other member will give you abit more info in what to look for

Thanks for that, $7-15k is quite a large range!!!
On the bushes front...do you just look to see if they are cracked - or some other test?
Cheers

just look to see if they are in good condition.
also engine mounts
check for vibrations in the tail shaft
listen for engine noises
chech for creases in body work for possible the car being in a accident

evoism is selling his evo1 powered GSR. its in perfect running order with leather , Im just not a fan of the fibreglass front bar and bonnet, but thats easy changed

There's a evo1 gsr on firesport for 10g road registered, unforchanatly the prices are dropping bigtime

as many will agree, you get what you pay for. Sometimes (read most times) its not worth getting the 'cheapest of the heap'.
