whats the stock height for a CC GSR 4wd?

Hey guys im looking to get some low springs and want some custom made up to the height i want. the problem is i need to know the stock GSR height so i can give a correct quote. (i dont have the standard suteup currently)


anyone know the stock ride height? (from centre of wheel hub to lip of guard, front and rear)

Considering the height is measured from centre of wheel to lip of guard... why not just quote what you want measured from that. It doesn't matter if you're measuring into empty space or up the lip of your guard (if you're raising the car)... I don't see why this is relevant?

Remember these are jap spec power figures on that site too, the local gsr figures are less for our fuel.

( Please dont point out that he is not after power figures! As all of you will be going "look at the power figures hes got the wrong spec..blah blah.. :lol: ". The ride heights are the same across the board for cc 4wd.)

the guy who is making the springs wants to know how many inches from stock i want the car.

no point going up to him and saying 'i want 200mm at the rears', becasue he wont know how to do this

how are you getting them made? chopped, compressed....? or different totally custom ones?

if its either of the first two options then id strongly advise against it.

im guessing they would be compressed springs, to suit the height requested. why do you advise against this? :?:

ruins the handling and ruins the spring rates.

Just buy a new set of springs... Pedders, Whiteline, King, etc... Probably cheaper too.

ok i guess i didnt make myself clear,

i am buying brand new springs, but they will be a custom height.

yes i could get whiteline, or kings, but they will not be at the height that i want

i havent ordered anything yet, as i still have to find out what stock height is and quote how much lower than this i want :lol:
