A friend came over tonight to drop off his GVR4 gearbox so I could have a look at it.
From his descriptions it sounded like 1st/2nd gear were not engaging so I suspected a broken 1st/2nd shift fork or shift rail end.
When I pulled it down to the bellhousing I noticed that the shift forks and rails were fine.... then I tried spinning the intermediate shaft.
Needless to say a fist pump and a high-5 was in order for this achievement

He's running a 4G63 stroker with around 520hp atw on E85.
Now he's saving for a PPG gearset and if he tells his wife just how much that's going to cost him, he might just end up with another broken shaft in no time!
Good work Anthony!

Nice one ! Actually , it's been months since I've done a GVR4 gearbox... all my customers have bought CP and CT Evo... Thanks for reminding me what they look like LOL !

There comes a time when we hear a certain sound
When the Mitsu world must come together as one
There are transmissions dying
And its time to lend a hand to drive
The greatest gift of all

We can't go on pretending day by day
That our trannys, sometime somewhere will soon make a change
They are all a part of Mitsu's great big family
And the truth, you know,
Boost is all we need

[Chorus]
We are the Mitsu world, we are the Mitsu children
We are the ones who drop the clutch at seven K
So lets start boosting
With the mods we're making
We're spending money our whole lives
Its true they'll fuck up on us one day
Just wait and see...
