hey guys,

currently deciding which dump pipe i should use for my 2L. im after a 3" one but dont know if its worth payin 270 for an evo3 dump if there is a better dump i can buy out there thats in the same price range.

what dump is everyone using?

should i just use the evo3?

cheers

mike

im plannin on using a 20g when my bottom end is done.

what dumps are most people running other than e3 ones?

Punishment racing.

Megan racing.
Stateside....

Place in Bris does stainless Twin dumps.

Have a search around man.

Yeah those punishment racing ones look good- and fairly cheap too. I'm sure if you organized a group buy, shipping could come down a bit

the one in brisbane is brijis autos

they make them in house for 1-3

very nice and have a super long split dump

I'm running a Punishment Racing 2.5" mild steel dump with screamer pipe.

Evo 3 dumps are also 2.5".

A 3 inch one is pretty hard to find off the shelf, a 2.5" one will usually suffice.
On my car, the front pipe flares out to 3" just after the flange where it connects to the dump.

nice looking piece of gear......do you have one?

would it affect the oxy sensor operation being further down the exhaust?

so would an aftermarket dump make much difference on an evo 3 with stock turbo? i got a 3inch from the hiflow cat and have been thinking bout an upgrade of dump and front pipes if its worth while

A front pipe at least would make a massive difference- you gain top end with it!

i dont think that they do make them like that... but wouldnt be too hard to modify...

also,

http://4gtuner.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3313&highlight=brijs

Ive always said that they need to make it flanged BEFORE the flex joint and make it out of mild steel too.

with mine, depending on how much of a pian in the ass it is.

i was thinking of puting slip joints on the section
marked in blue and have tabs
and springs or clamps for a quick removal.

Go punishment racing with a tial flange on it..and then add a tial 38, and you can dispense with the cheap internal wastegate on the mitsubishi turbos :D

the brijis auto one, is that a 3" outlet?

how much lower does it get compared to an E3 one?

and whats the actual website for the site? i tried searchin brijis auto on google.

thanks :)
