4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

yeah it has a 3" outlet and comes with the flange plate.

and there is no website that i know of.

i looked them up on white pages and just called them.

one of the guys actually makes them there so it can take a while,
but they are nice quality for sure.

im not sure how low it sits on the car though

would you happen to know the number i can call?

so the E3 dump doesnt have a 3" outlet? i was under the impression all this time it was lol

i dont have their number mate, ive had mine for over a year now.

i dont think any evos actually come with a true 3" dump pipe factory

no worries,

thanks dougmo. is their actual shop called brijis auto?or is brijis just an abbreviation for something.

hey guys these dump pipes are still avaliable upon request. they only suit evo 1 to 3, gsr with evo or vr4 engines. they havnt been made up for vr4's as yet need a donnor car to make it up. with regards to a two piece can be made up but this design is easily taken of in 10 to 15 minutes if needed be.

ph: 07 32833722 ask for elvin thanks

I notice they don't have a bracket to bolt them back to the block, to take some weight off the exhaust manifold studs. How about incorporating that in the design Elvin?

Like the look and design of the dump. Would like to get one. Have followed the threads I could find, but could not find the follow-up answers to reported problems. So, going back a bit:

What is the problem with this dump on a VR4? Is it just that you need to remove the crossmember to install it, or does it hit the crossmember? Can it be modified to fit a VR4, if so how? Or has one now been developed to suit?

has only been developed to suit evo set up. was a mistake on my behalf for got about the crossmember on a vr4 that runs across the front. so thats y the person i sold it to was refunded fully on the item. could modifly to fit a vr4 just need to get hold of one to set it up. as for the bracket rob could possibly graft one on but i havnt had any one having dramas with the weight of the dump pipe yet. not that i have heard anyway.

As for the bracket to block is conserned I'm sure it will only be a matter of time and you will start to here about some issue's caused by non bracing to the block.. if the factory dump has it I would think its a very wise idea to weld the tab onto the future dumps you make.

I know of numerous vr4's with aftermarket exhausts without the bracket. Most of them have problems with leaks between the head and the exhaust manifold and stripped holes in the head where the exhaust studs go.

Also, here's something to think about. Taking a large (eg 3") pipe under the sump usually causes the exhaust to end up being the lowest point on the front of the car (instead of the sub-frame rails). If you bottom out the car on a speed bump (or in my case, it was hitting a cattle grid at speed), that force goes upward through the exhaust, turbo and uses the exhaust manifold as a lever to break, loosen and strip the exhaust manifolds studs (in my cattle grid mishap), it snapped 3 of the lower studs). With that bracket in place, you would take a lot of load off the exhaust manifold studs and transfer it directly to the block instead.

A Touring Road event called the Coastal challenge
It's Mad fun.

I blame the red mist that descends in the heat of competition and makes you believe that you are 10 times the better driver than you really are .

Bit of a thread from the dead... but..

does anyone have any contact details for brijis autos or what ever they are called?

No luck finding them.. failing that any other suggestions for off the shelf dumps?
