Help Support 4GTuner:

ok,

car will be getting the rear 1/4 moulds done over the next few weeks along with the roof

confirmed prices to follow.

roof will be available separately and now having the 1/4s means I can now offer the full kit

car is in getting the moulds done for the rear 1/4s and the roof.

this completes the whole wide body kit, the roof will be available in fibreglass or carbon.

pricing on these parts to follow

It would be good to know what you can run without other parts.

Eg Can I run the widened rear doors and the rear flares and not get anything else?

OK

as follows

front bar can be on its own (works with stock guards)

front guards can be run on their own

front doors can be run on their own (copy of stock)

rear doors need the rear 1/4s (and 1/4s need the doors really)

side skirts can be run on their own

roof can be on its own

I just made them up myself, bought 3mm lexan and cut them out.

if you want them internal fit like stock windows its even easier, just take the stock glass out and
use them as a template

The real thing looks pretty good too - if I hadn't spent $$$ getting my dash suede wrapped I'd be on one of these.

roof mould is done, rear quarter moulds should be done in a few days, they still need prepping befoe any parts can be made

Would be interesting to compare OEM vs FG/CF roof weights. Are you making the roof in carbon George?

What about boot, front bonnet and rear bar; are you going to (eventually) convert these as well? Once you start there's no going back!!

my roof will be fibreglass as I just want light weight, the benefit of carbon doesn't offset the cost.

I see no real benefit of changing the alloy bonnet as its stiffer and wont catch air as easily

my boot is carbonfibreglass now, and my doors, front guards, skirts are all f/g and bloody light :)
