Hey guys, I need to remove the rubber at the top of the windscreen, as is starting to rust there. (Quality respray done on the car before I owned it <_< )

Been told I need to take whole windscreen out to do this

Any advice on how to do it? preferably without breaking anything?

Thanks

just take off the moulds then use a thin blade from the inside to cut the urithane

and take your time

+1 to kaotic, i had my windscreen replaced with a new one for $180, and the guy came to me!

+2 I've taken a few out myself and only managed to not break one of them - you need to remove the dash to get the the bottom of the screen which is a pita, and after spending aaaages slowly cutting the urethane you're almost certain to crack the screen when it comes to the last bit (unless your assistants can hold it perfectly still.

If you are still keen to have a go I found using a wire with a handle on each end and an assistant much easier than using a knife.

if you want to get it out yourself(bloodyhard work) you can use piano wire, bit of wood on each end and pull it through the seal.
again
very hard work
