i had fun even if my pride and joy sound like crap and made everyone cringe when i started it. oh did i mention it didn't make it all the way home (cheeky lil bugger wanted a lift) like wise was certainly a pleasure meeting you all. i may come down for next years but probably wont drive.

He stripped the keyway on the crank pulley/balancer. Waiting to assess the damage

Yeah it was wobbling and the immediate effects would have been transferred directly to the number 1 crank bearing and also to the alternator pulley bearing too

Would also suspect the crank timing gear to be damaged it sits directly behind the balancer on the same key way. So only half the keyway is gone.

This is the second balancer this crank has gone through so I will Likly change it. And begin the rebuild of a new completely forged motor
