Hi guys.

Right, after a number of failed attempts recently to get the car on the track, I'm in need of some help.

Wanting either:

A) A nicely rebuilt 4G93T. Im talking something with a sound bottom end.

B) All parts needed to rebuild a 4G93T, that will be strong enough to handle consistant abuse.

Dont need either manifolds or turbo, just a tough long motor or everything i need to build a tough long motor.

If you have a built motor in need of a new home, PM me asap or if you have the parts needed let me know.

Thanks

(dont want to go the 4G63 guys)

I have a motor here... It has forged pistons in it. It had a timing belt failure in the previous owners car. Haven't removed the head as yet to check the damage... Dunno if that interests you at all...? PM me if you need more info... Only problem being-I'm in NSW.. so freight won't be cheap??

Check with Matt Dreckow with the GSR/Evo guys. The NO GRIP Mirage, he was recking it, the motor was around for ages....might still be.

i have a couple of jap low km engines at work if your interested, in adelaide so dont have to pay transport.

jesus...what shit luck you are having! Hope you get it sorted mate....

Tell me about it. I have had it for a while now and still havnt been able to get it on the track which is what i bought it for. Never buying a car from interstate again!!! Big mistake.

Just need someone to plonk a nicely built motor on my lap and say give me $xxxx and you'll have no drama's with it... lol

some bad luck obviously, can help out with a low km import eng if needed, but they are only standard.

Have to be on the cheap bud, as i have two engine myself, but one we cant find a problem and the other is still in the car. I figure i'll grab one, strip it myself and start from scratch.

PM me a figure

Cheers

4g93t motor

gday mate,
best i can get one for is about a grand, was a complete motor with all he turbo and manifold ripped from it.
i know the 4g93 motors arent the strongest, but they should still take a bit.
after two of them i am supprised you havent gone to 4g63?

What can I say, Im stubborn... I love the hard revin little 93's and ive had great success with them in the past, just the engine in the car a bought was said to be a "built motor" but when stripped it had CP pistons, but standard rods which just didnt handle the boost. Which means i got jipped or the bloke who had the motor built short cutted or didnt even know it had standard rods!

Cheers for the offer mate, but for a 2 hour job i can have the current motor out ready for a build. If anyone has a spare block, ill take it off there hands (as long as its fine) for accouple of hundred.

yeah the 4g93 motors rev nice. but if you like a 4g motor that revs you need to find a 4g61t! they rev the hardest of all. but really the 7 bolt 4g63ts rev hard also.
