Yea I was told the car was a series 2 wen I bought it it apparantly has different colour material and also has has a traction control button which I have confirmed with a couple of people down here that have the same car however there's don't have this button I did consider a tdo5 however don't I have to do an injector upgrade if I put one of those on ???
 
You need to upgrade injectors as well as have your ecu bayed and chipped to get the best out of it... You can bolt the td05 up to your motor for a few more gains it will just take longer to come on boost due to being on smaller motor... You will also need to enlarge the exhaust outlet on manifold from 4cm to 7cm...

He has a turbo and ecu setup for sale for a reasonable price and says he will do a deal if you buy both....?? I have the slimline fan he mentions if you need it too!

will do a good deal for both units ready to go.. only thing i foresee needing change is the exhaust mated upto the dump pipe but that shouldnt be hard!

Didnt think there was an A-spec facelift model... Never heard of it? Maybe it's J-spec?

As for traction control- what button is this exacly? These cars dont have traction control dude- they dont even have LSD's
 
I'll take a photo of it tomorrow and post it up I thought it was strange aswell because I knew they didn't come out with traction control

Dre..i have seen the button/switch. It is in the drivers side vent, where the fog light switches normally are on an Evo...I know they dont have traction control but what does TCL stand for??:blink:

You can tell by the colour that it didn't live in there originally!

I have a TCL button in my Verada, and its definitely traction control- not sure why you'd want traction control in a 4WD turbo!

Always knew it wasnt an original item just wondered why it was there and what it was supposed to be-the grey colouring of switch was always a dead giveaway:)...I know one thing- I wouldnt want traction control on mine..kills all the fun!!:lol::lol:
