Hey,
Already posted on Clubvr4 about this but.. yeah..

Anyway, as it states, I'm after a stock A-spec steering wheel in good nick. I guess I could call some wreckers, but I don't really want to pay 80-100 bucks for one (or more... ahh, mate, that's a rare part.. etc). It doesn't actually have to be A-spec, so long as it's leather. According to troopershannon, the normal J-spec one is plastic and awful? Obviously if someone has some kind of rare wheel, for example an AMG one (I don't know if it's leather, just assuming) I will pay more for it.

Apart from buying it outright, which is fine, I am also willing to trade for a leather SAAS (I think) wheel, in good condition. It has a black boss kit, the wheel and spokes are black, and it has the coveted Mitsubishi logo horn button.

EDIT: Looked on some websites, saw some pics of J-spec steering wheels.. WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THE STEERING WHEEL LOOK LIKE THAT.. lol.... sorry J-spec owners. I hope you all get nice new steering wheels for christmas. So, I take back what I said about it being able to be any kind of wheel. A-spec only please

J-spec/A-spec wheels are both leather. JSPECS have "4WS" in the centrecap.

Good luck finding either.... i mean that seriously. Took me ages to find one.

Plastic ones are off Galant GSR's. I've got like 3 of those

Adelaide.... I would rather have one that's as close to perfect as humanly possible for such an old car. Unless it's not that expensive to get stuff like that retrimmed?

Oh, nothings wrong with it Dan, it will no doubt pass regency, but I'd like one as a more permanent arrangement. Can't be arsed with the whole, well son, that doesn't look like a stock steering wheel BS with cops if I should be pulled over.

Also, different regency people told me different things about steering wheels, and I CBF'd going through it all. Also, I quite like the feel of the stocky, nice and thin.

PM sent GVR40 :D

the times ive been pulled over ive said the same thing:
"It passed when i went through regency"

Note to all: Bright blue steering wheels attract attention

Really? Honestly, I didn't even notice it

Hmm.. do you get pulled over a lot in the vr4? I dunno, I don't want to have to say that, they can still defect you if they want. Bah, I never want to be defected again.
