while car is off the road i've decided to look for an aftermarket ecu. exterior/interior upgrades can come later.

looking for anything basically, or if anyone know where i can get a 2nd hand one..

btw, it's for a 95 lancer gsr. :D

hey dre..
i'm just unsure about the tuning of them!.. i dont have a pda or any data logging equipment, plus i have no idea to go about tuning these things!..

he's done quite a few wolf computers on team4g member's cars with fantastic results!

if it gets the results, why go for something different?

Because its half the price and you wont get dicked by the EPA!

I've got an Emanage Ultimate for sale. Loom already spliced into a Evo1/2/3/GSR loom extension. Will plug straight in and be ready to tune.

Also unplugs in seconds if need be.

how much would it cost for a loom for an e5 for the e manage?

dre is the dsmlink available for an e5?

no i'm not, not yet anyway.

we need AUSVR4 to chime in, he's the only person I know who has one, and AFAIK, he does some of the tuning himself its that easy

A chipped ecu still retains the factory sensors and most settings.. so in regards to EPA reguations it would be fairly hard to defect because they would need to be able to prove that you are running a modified tune..

The EPA/TMU's wouldnt open up the ECU all they would do is connect their sensors up to the o2 sensors etc..

So from my view a chipped ecu is as good as an ADR approved stock computer for the fact that its very hard to prove that it isnt stock.. and it still retains o2 sensors and air flow metre etc...

Tuning isnt hard.. you just need to have an open mind and beable to monitor car sensors.. a wideband would be great to tune with if you have access to you...
