As above, looking to buy good condition genuine Mitsubishi Turbo off EVO3 or second hand GT-Pumps EVO3 copy. Not fussed about manifold however oil /water lines plus dump would be helpful. Prefer Sydney if possibble but will pay freight if reqiured.

Cheers.

P.S. I am aware that GT-Pumps have these new, trying to source one for a little less $ at this stage.

Try scouring the F.S. threads for older posts(no more than 5-6 months) and shoot the member a PM.

Add people to MSN and start good forum member contacts like that.

I have (at time of writing) 25 people online msn and 18 of them are members on T4G.

You should see my msn list..its huge

I have one,

a genuine Mitsubishi E3 Big 16g, with Gtpumps enhanced rear housing.

It has done less than 2000ks on my 4G93T. No shaft play, as new condition.

I may be willing to let it go for the right price.

nop evo 2 turbos r small...

I think E2 and 3 turbos are actually the same, Jarred (GSRWRC) has had both of them side by side ...

Correct.

A friend of Jarreds(who is a mechanic) has pulled appart over 100 APPARENT small 16gs and as yet, has NEVER found one of them with the smaller wheels

I pulled appart an evo1 16g the other day and it was a big 16g.....(was an Rs though :p )

I think you could be reffering to Steve Murch a.k.a crunchy on NZMMC. He owns/runs Motor Sport Engineering, an engineering business in Avondale, Auckland. you might sometimes spot his "MSE" comp covers on TD05/06 turbos that have had his magic wand over it. He is the turbo god in New Zealand. He also does the tech section for NZPC New Zealand Performance Car Magazine, which has to say something too.

This is what I just dug up from a thread on NZMMC:

ill give my 5 cents worth based on what turns up in my workshop and not whats meant to be on the car. one thing you have over seen is what you see isnt always what you get. cores can be changed from one comp cover to another and some of you are buying evo1 cars with 2-3 turbos on them or even an rs which has a large 16g on it.
what i have found over the years is evo1 has a small 16g with a 60mm base and evo2-3 a 68mm base. at the end of the day there isnt a big power gain between the both, im biased here and think a td06 front even on a stock 16g works bloody well as a stock cover has a small diffuser plate creating to much temp on compression, the bigger this plate the more torque.

*EDIT* I just realised this is a for wanted thread- perhaps one of the mods mite like to split it off into a discussion for future reference :)
