hey guys chasing a socketed evo 1 2 or 3 ecu in good working condition or a evo 7-10 with a patch loom has to be fully tunable tho thanks in advanced guys

Its not what you asked for but I have a plug and play Evo 1-3 haltech loom near new condition for $250 in case you're thinking of going haltech.

I'll keep it in mind but my main plan is if I can't get a evo 123 for a decent price then to look towards a evo 7 conversion as there is so many write ups and people always willing to help

Evo 6-7 ecu are a peace of piss to do, even for me.
Would a socketed RVR ecu do? I know a member who had some.... Had being the word though, would have to check.

Even the extra plug, I didn't bother I just got new pins from Jaycar and directly into the connections as (from memory) it was only 2 or 3, I think.
Alternatively, the 3.5 litre magna ofghe early 2000's is a good source for the plug as well.

I don't want to play down the idea of a patch loom at all, but seriously took me (I am no auto sparky god believe me!) about 2 hours of time and the only tools I used were a safety pin/small hair clip and small pliers. The only thing that I had to re-do was for the radiator fans.
If you are thinking Haltech, definitely get a patch loom though.
