you can get a decent evo 7 for $25k, have seen a few around in my searchings.. Good luck with the purchase and sale.. you will be joining a stronger more reliable family :)

on autotrader, there is a black e7 for 22k, however..

ad says its from vic but plates are qld.. 007evo...

not much a fan of e7's, but it does look pretty hot..

we can do it $25000 complied because the aud - yen conversion is going good atm

we allready have the import aproval , car will be here in 3 weeks , your more than welcome to inspect and test drive it

from what my partner in japan tells me this is a very clean unit 56,000kms auction grade 4.0 and my partner has been purchasing 100 cars a month for 7 years in japan , his descriptions are pretty spot on

regards,steve

yep with most of the above mentioned you will most likely have to factor in extra costs such as tyres, towing, new clutch, new rotors and pads and any of the other unknown mechanical issues that come with importing, especially with Evos. Remember small porblems on Evos do not mean small mechanic bill, i.e clutch will set you back 1.5k, rotors 500+ front slightly less rear, pads 300 (front only) cheap street 450+ good street/track. If your looking at a decent VII thats actually complied and can be checked out i wouldnt be paying less than 28k.. More for a car with some tasty mods in good nic.

25K sure there are some around but dont expect to be driving it too far or too hard in the near future without spending more $$$$. DO it right the first time IMO.....

there on their for about 22k

dont see any with 56,000 kms for $22,000 :D

im sure if you look after you cars like most people do ,you will get at least 50,000 kms of trouble free driving

$25k includes all taxes compliance towing delivery(in vic) rwc etc.....

all you need to do is pay the on road costs which is standard with any vehcile purchase and drive away with a smile on you face

why purchase a car with mods that has been cained , you can buy a low km mint vehicle like this and modify it later on when your budget permits

trust me purchasing a car with mods will incur more cost and problems than its worth, most compliance workshops wont have anything to do with modified vehicles

low km stock and high auction grade is the only way to go , i would rather lose a sale then go through the headache of trying to import a car thats going to fail compliance

just my opinion some might disagree

Sounds like Advanced Jap has a good option there. Props for being up front about the on road costs too. It's something you need to remember when buying from J-spec, Prestige, Iron Chef. You'll be up for about a grand in RTA fees (I don't know what they are exactly in Vic, but no doubt they are similar to SA).

FWIW my Evo 7 sold for $27k. Got sick of trying to sell it for more and having to deal with fuckwits so I just posted up on Evo Oz that I wanted it gone in 2 weeks for $27k. 5 minutes later I got a phone call asking what my bank account was as he wanted to put a deposit on it. Don't assume that it's stuffed just because it's cheap.

thanks for the replys.
has anyone heard the rumours about the evo 7s having problems with weak motors. ive been told with a turbo upgrade or boost upgrae they can break down....
cheers

Who told you this?? Any engine can break when you put it in the wrong hands.
