I paid $300 for my last box with transfer case!

What exactly is wrong with the box you have now?

Well, 1st gear is at times hard to get into, and 2nd and 3rd gear is crunching.. Basically the syncros are gone, so thought it would be cheaper to buy another one than rebuild this one.

they can be tricky to find nowdays, I actually have 2 at home ( both broken now ) And I am teaching myself how to rebuild them rather than have to keep buying them when I kill them!
