Don't PM CVAP. Ring him or email him.

He will NOT respond to pms.
Yes boss! I didn't realise he didn't like PM's until he REPLIED to my PM informing me so.

Email it is.. are you his mother?

WTF...? He was trying to help you by telling you the best way to contact him and get a response... you attitude stinks, don't be a *the 'C' word* and your more likely to receive assistance in the future.
I don't think his original message came across as trying to "help". If that were the case, a simple "I would suggest trying to contact him via email or telephone as this is his preferred method of contact, as he isn't inclined to respond to PM's". Why is there such a need to be so blunt and arrogant?

In any case, Andrew did respond to my PM and asked me if I would mind emailing him, which I did.

Thanks for your input Ant, it's much appreciated

Heh... It was blunt but certainly not arrogant. Speaking of arrogant, i'm guessing from the arrogant asshole attitude your portraying and seeing as how your from Perth i'm guessing your sven from GVR4.

Oh and no need to thank me happy to give my 2c

Why don't you send me a PM if you've got something you want to say about me, instead of wasting space in my wanted threads by calling me names. I've made about 20-30 posts on GVR4 in the few years I've been reading those sites, I'd like you to personally show me in a PM where I've been an "arrogant arsehole".

Good, look forward to hearing from you again...

Ah........................... children children children.

You both need to take a step back and GROW UP. You are both wasting space in this thread.

Any more BS from either of you will result in a formal warning.

back on topic -

Andrew, can you supply Mechanical LSD units from EVO1/2/3 or GSR (both front and rear), that I could insert into my GSR drivetrain?

You mentioned earlier that I will possibly need a JSPEC GSR rear diff with matching shafts........?

also, is it neccessary to upgrade the centre diff aswell?

cheers

I have 2 mechanical rear evo LSD's. They are both 3.909. Front mechanical are pretty much impossable to find( other than new). I do not have any JDM gsr viscous diffs. ( 3.7)
The standard centre viscous unit is fine ( provided it is in goob nick) for most applications. ( For rally a ralliart viscous is best) . Viscous unit can be fried if car is driven with broken drive shaft. If unit is fried car becomes more FWD.

so if i want to keep my GSR ratios, but get the LSDs, will i need the Jspec rear diff?

going off the KAAZ / Cusco LSD application charts, the part numbers for each of the front, centre and rear LSD units, are the same for CD5A and CD9A/CE9A.

The easiest thing to do is fit Evo mechanical rear LSD to your diff using your CWP

Thats what I thought :)

but then you mentioned earlier about not being able to do this with the Aspec GSRs? :?

ah well thats good news! I suppose youd want to sell the whole diff assembly not just the LSD though am I correct :p
