Evo 2/3 have stiffening plates welding to the underside of the arm. The arm is a box section rather than a "U"

BUMP! Even a pair of GSR arms would do the job - I need to keep the car mobile so could swap the GSR arms in and have my EVO2-3 arms modified!!
