Hello,

Apparently my thermo housings on the block are corroded and need replacing. Anybody got spares in good condition?

I'm also wondering if a variety of sonata housing would be the same, if anybody knows and nobody has one?
 
im not sure what car you have mate but i had to get new ones from mits,they took a while because they had to come from japan but were not dear at all

mine were for an evo 2
 
I got told it's $220 for one from japan... which i think is a bit of a joke and a half...

haha, sorry; VR4 galant.
 
was that through mitsubsihi though?

your local ralliart dealer can get parts on order from japan.

is it the small hose outlets or the whole body that bolts to the motor?
 
No idea to be honest. Car was gettin a coolant leak fixed, then they tell me that the housing's corroded and needs replacing. I'm assuming then maybe it's the whole body that bolts to the motor... sounds like it.
 
I probably have 6 or 7 floating around. I'll check this week if your'e not in a hurry. You can call me on 0407 569 651 to hurry my arse up if I don't get back to you fast enough.
 
Not in a hurry. GOnna make the car 100% before putting rego on it. And atm have stacks of assignments from uni piling up.

Yeah, I just wanted to see if i could get one for a reasonable price before going to that option...
