One of the coils on my ISC has hit 150 ohms .. gah! Don't really feel like spending 70 bucks on a new one just yet, so.. if someone has one with just ONE coil at 30 ohms.. can I have it? (I reckon I can fix it, it's the top coil in mine thats gone.)

Or I will buy a working one. If it's an early genuine mitsi one though, it will screw up eventualy to, so I don't really want to pay more than 30 dollars. I'd pay up to 50 dollars for a good condition revised unit (evo2,3 black ISC)

Also I need a J-pipe from a TD05.. the TD04 pipe is a little smaller and I reckon that a silicon reducer will cost me as much as a J-pipe.. so why not have a bigger pipe :D.
 
I got a Kia/Hyundai one that is quite possibly the same internally, I think it all works so you wont have to mess around fixing yours, Say $40 posted and it is yours, let me kno if you are interested and I will post up some pics so you can see if it is the same as what you are after.
 
Yeah, I'm interested for 40 bucks (then again, free + postage IS cheaper haha.. I kid)

.. but can you measure coil resistances for me? If it's 30, it's the pre-revision design, and I'd rather fix mine :D
 
I still need an ISC, I am getting pretty annoyed with the cold idle, so if anyone has one (working or not) to suit VR4, let me know.

just piss off the wax pellet with a plate and get rid of it for good :idea:
 
I've already deleted the FIAV, but it's a pain in the arse not having an ISC - I can't run the aircon when the car is cold or else it stalls. I could raise the idle to 1000-1100 rpm, which would fix the issue but... then it would be really annoying and loud.
