YAY NEW RIMS

Well anyway sotry goes i shatterd a rim of mine car been getting fixed i have been looking for a new set of rims for a long time in 17 x 9 with a nice offset well anyway i wanted rims that where light weight yet tuff

WELL my new rims are on the way for a bargin price

^^^^ yep 17 x 9 +28 offset AU retail price 900 EACH my price 2300 LANDED for full set from my mate in japan OH DID i mention they weight in at 6.6kg EACH

with the money i have saved i will have some new semi comps going on them

i know this is a pointless post but im just realy happy after being stuffed around by justcars for months well two they have finaly paid me out and now my car is on the mend

Yeah Im very happy with the size i have been looking for rims for the last 4 weeks as that is what my car is awaiting to be fixed

and i was going to get a set of AVS T7 in 17 x 9 +29 only reason i got the buddy club as here like i said everyone selling them for $900 each and i thought i send my mate in japan a email to see price thinking it be about 800 each but then he said buddy clubs where cheaper there then Rays and Advans who knows why

and with these being the lightest 17 x 9 on the market i was more then happy to get these now lets hope i can fit the 235/45/17 semi slicks on

so should have car back on road soon then i loose my license in about a month after that

yeah the buddy clubs and black racing wheels are good value for money. don't know why they are so cheap.. maybe just trying to boost their popularity

yeah i know over here they cost HEAPS for this version yet over there cheap maybe bekoz there is only one set design as such there is not a Huge amount of offsets and sizes aval

so it more for the people who feel like there fat and need to loose a bit of weight

Well if the QF fail as shop did not have any in stock finding out tommorow if factory does i will get them as shit there lightest rims on the market and next to no one has them

but if they fail i was going to look at Rays ce28n Re30s or the buddy clubs above as well asi want a light track rim

as my car is fat and has to loose weight

yeah the 6 should be in a bit better condition next time you all see it i got all the paint fixed up and scratchs

also i got new canards for it a bit more aggressive ones also the suspension is being done again well just the settings putting some camber on the front and maybe lowering it a bit more as the car is no longer a day car

also did i mention i should have a motec with advanced features soon

currently looking at re doing all my suspension other then the coilovers for example

all new chassis bracing strut bracing sway bars and bushes

going backwards to everyone else i guess you could say

handerling 1st bracking 2nd weight reduction 3rd then last the motor and power

but im currently stuck between cusco items and lailie i think there called items

but thanks guys on the comments very happy to be getting evo back after 8 weeks i dont know how people getting there evos built over months and years could do it i feel for you guys

BAH got the bad news from the buddy club factory japan

out of stock and no longer made

so getting price on the other rims from japan

or some advans at the momment im trying to find the weight of them other buddy clubs posted above

Nah i dont like the Gtc i had my friends on on my evo for a week when he had to clear a defect they didnt suit it at all

i just got prices of some rims i was looking at

in all the jap mags i read alot of Evos have dif offset from front to rear anyone know if that will effect anything?
