    Its actually on both. He checked it with the timing light to confirm what the ecmlink was saying and it was definitely doing the same thing. Hes going to pull the front off and make sure everything is as It should be. If anything looks sus it will be replaced or adjusted.

    Hmmm could be onto something. The belt seems to flap about a bit too much when reved up and down. Tuner suspects whoever rebuilt the motor did not change the tensioner or may have stuffed it by compressing it too quickly. Could be the reason for the timing fluctuating up to 10degrees. Fingers...

    Im not sure about that. I will ask when I pick the car up. Actually I think when ebc was disabled the car ran at 14psi off the wastegate. When I picked the car up from tuners last time in its dull tune it was on 14psi then. So maybe yeah it isn't knocking while at wastegate pressure?

    Ok Timing belt cover is off. I had a look at the marks on the inlet and exhaust pulleys. At no point will they all line up horizontally. If i put a ruler up against them one is always up or down a notch. Does this confirm that one is out a tooth? It looks to me when the inlet pulley is squared...

    Yes all checked and perfect. Head is factory vr4. None of the internals were adjusted or touched while getting tuned. It boosted fine before with internals how they are now so could prob eliminate that for now.
