Forged VR4 Engine, Custom alloy intercooler setup and other parts...

Replied. Because AFAIK, VR-4 rods only think about bending when you're up around the 400kw (flywheel) mark unlike rods found in 4G93's and early model Evos. The engine was built to be not only responsive, but have a meaty mid-range and with the cams, it pulls even harder to the 7200 limiter...

canal blue only a TME colour?

^^ Yep, that's definitely a GSR. It's a pretty poor description for the advertisement... and Evo 6's commenced production on 01/01/1999... Oggy, refer to this thread: http://4gtuner.com/site/showthread.php?p=184822

You'll be looking at around $1600 for a Kaaz LSD. Not sure how the Ralliart LSD compares but the Kaaz that I have in my car is not particularly user friendly on public roads. Having said that, an LSD is a 'must do' mod for all powerful front wheel drives.

    300kph + Battery relocation + HIDS

Thanks for that but it wasn't what I had envisaged. I was devastated to see what happened to your car on Evo Oz. Hope it was insured and that all is OK.

Anyone good with photoshop? VR4 colour change ideas!

Most of the new Commodore/Falcon colours tend to date after a few years. Go with candy apple red - you cannot go wrong! :)

So got stopped by the cops last night...

If that was his exact words, then what a fucking wanker. But having said that, I think you're pretty lucky all things being considered... and as mentioned, BOV's and any boost altering device is illegal in all states and territories AFAIK.

That's a damn good good price for what appears to be a clean car. Best of luck with the sale mate.

FS: Porsche 928S Polished cast alloy Rims - $600 O.N.O

I am not sure of the stud pattern as of yet. I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the misc section seeing as it's not Mitsubishi related but it is still a car part. Seeing as they're hard to come by, I was just throwing it out there on the off chance that a member may perhaps know...

FS: Porsche 928S Polished cast alloy Rims - $600 O.N.O

Hi guys, I have had a set of polished alloy Porsche 928S rims sitting in the garage now for 5 + years and they need to go. Sold the Porsche many years ago with aftermarket rims and kept the originals and they are taking up too much space. Rims are in good condition, especially for their age...

According to one or two of my close mates, I heard that there is some truth in that. I am not that silly. :P

How much are you enjoying your car

I have been driving the Evo every day this week, mainly due to the fact that the A/C compressor on the work ute said 'good night'... and it's been 40 degrees C for most part of the last fortnight. Honestly, I am not really enjoying it - two weeks straight is enough for me with lowered...
