ive heard you need to use a vr4 engine mount (not sure which one) to lower the height of the engine so it doesnt stick out so much. You may also need to cut some of the support bars on the gsr bonnet, where it closes over the timing belt cover.

surely before they crush it you would remove all parts of value? ie put a shit battery in, shit tyres, remove stereo etc.

evos 1-3 though come with 15" rims as standard, so if they have the same calipers as evo4, then what would the problem with them fitting? (not denying that they dont fit, just wondering why)

I recently tried fitting 15" rims on my legnum. Legnum VR4's use the same caliper and rotor as an evo 4. The rim wouldnt fit due to the caliper size, not due to the rotor size. So if your putting evo 1-3 calipers on with evo4 rotors you might be ok, although having said that, I am pretty...

yeh turns out they need to be drilled for the hex bolts to fit flush (makes sense really, i didnt give it a huge amount of thought). Oh well.
