lol @ peashooter . Just want to know if it'll fit without having to re-drill the holes etc. hence i was curious about the diameter .

Lancer cc's have 7 bolt flywheels (one that i have) problem was that holes in the flywheel we're slightly undersize (.02mm), in turn i had to drill them out.

Out of a dohc version of a galant ? Or Sohc ? WHat yr ? I've taken a few gearboxes, and they all had 6 bolt ... Also wondering about the diameter of the bolt holes, what are they? I don't want to have to drill them out to suit. How much we're you after for it ? Thanks in advance .

Well where we're you yesterday !?!? lol .. Walked past the mangnas and thought about it, but after ripping 3 gearboxes off getting drenched i wasn't up for it anymore, figured it was just one of those days. Might go back on the w/end and take one off a magna just for the satisfaction...

Ended up having to drill the flywheel by .2 mm Studs fit in nicely and i won't have to worry about a bigger flywheel diameter. On top of which i know it'll fit nicely with the current transmission. He was kinda right about this .. just needed the drilling to suit .. So 1/2 way there .. should...

Thanks for the reply . The engine is an rvr engine, i've got the stock CC flywheel, the current issue is that the diameter of the bolt holes in the flywheel are smaller than the bolts required for the crankshaft. So it looks like i'd have to bore out the flywheel bolt holes. My concern was...

Actually have been doing my research and the opinions seem to be mixed, as in, some people we're saying that the 4g93 flywheel is usable on the 4G63, some we're saying it wasn't. So end of the day just had to wing it. The clutch can be swapped for a different one anyways . ;)

After a 4G63T 7bolt (early models hyundai / rvr / evo1) flywheel if someone has a spare one, or know where i could find one in Melbourne area, please let me know. Thanks in advance .

Thanks for the reply, the engine it's self is a 7 bolt engine. The crank that came out of the 4g93 won't really fit ( stud diameter is smaller than the stud ), i've also purchased a clutch, and the design looks as tho the flywheel is meant to be lipped / dipped in to allow for the clutch to sit...

Reviving an old thread as i've just started on the conversion .. just curious if you we're able to source flywheel and how much it cost. Anybody who might know where to source a 4g63t flywheel (to suit cc lancer gbox ) may chime in if they wish to . Thanks in advance .

Just started doing a 4G63T conversion on a lancer cc, engine was originally bolted on to an auto transmission. Was wondering what flywheel would match to a standard FWD lancer gearbox (originally had a 4G93T). Are there any other flywheels that fit besides the evo flywheels ? Earlyer gsrs...

I can get a 4G63 N/A Manual loom out of a GSR Galant (93) will this be any good to me ? Anyone know what extra sensors the turbo version of the loom has ? wiring diagrams ? What will this bearing interfere with during the conversion? Why am i removing it for ? Won't be able to bolt the...

Ahem .. and why am i removing the spigot bearing ? :? Did you end up finding an rvr loom ? If so how much ? source ? :) I haven't really played with the engine, i've just been getting parts that i needed for the conversion, prior to starting, hence the questions. :wink:

Quick update .. . WEnt to the wreckers, found a loom, got all excited ..etc. took me a good 3hrs to get the wiring out without cutting anything out of the loom, etc. making sure i remember where things go .etc. came back to read the post again, realised i needed loom from 4G93P. Loom i got was...

And how did you get the ecu to think it's in park / drive ?
