so what would happen if i didnt chip the ecu???? and ran a safc? would that work? how much would it cost to chip and tune the ecu and where can i do it on the gold coast/brisbane area???

hey i know this has been disscussed alot but i just want to know what afm upgrade is available for 1990 jspec vr4? and do u really need to chip the ecu??? just say get a magna maf and re wiring to the vr4 loom and away you go???

axels tyres are the same aswell 195 60 15's

axels i do everything on my car myself, i did the last axel and it was sweet after that so ill do this one to. another thing is both times i had bad axel tramp when slowing down and big vibrations from the rear before they broke like for say 2 months there was axel tramp proir to the breakage.

axels yeh i got 3 the same and 1 different on the rear and its got a std 3 bolt that vr4s come with. so could the different tyres cause something with the dif and axels. they twist off inside the diff.

axels i have broken both reax axels in the past 2 months ist one was a decent launch and this one was axeleration on to the highway in 2nd:S heard a bang and then it was same symptoms as last time.

hehe i came across the same problem puttin my screamer pipe/dump on lol all u need is a calm clear head (or else you start hitting shit and swearing)lol and a socket that fit nicely in the space which is limited i also used a rind spanner aswell u will only move it about 2-4mm at a time but it...

axel break yeh felt like a slipping clutch it only cost me $80 to fix today got a used axel for &70 and diff oil for 10 so its all good now.... so good to be driving the vr4 as i havent for over a week and the screamer sounds better than ever:P
