    How to determine Piston CR?

All those variables being equal (head, bore, gasket, deck), the piston dome/dish will determine CR.

    How to determine Piston CR?

Guys, possibly amateur question. I'm looking at purchasing a set of CP Pistons from a private seller who claims they are 9.5:1, however there is no documentation to back this up (the piston spec sheet does not mention CP caralogue part number, CR or dome cc). How can I confirm piston CR...

    Piston to wall clearance

Guys, Very noob question here. To measure piston-to-wall clearance, is it simply: Cylinder Block ID - Piston OD ? E.g. Cylinder block ID measured at 85mm Piston measured at 84.96mm Piston-to-wall clearance = 85 - 84.96 = 0.04mm Thanks Alex

WTB: Bottom end parts for foged build (7 bolt)

After forged components for a 7-bolt bottom end. Would prefer a kit but willing to buy separate components as well. At this stage I am looking at all options (standard, stroker, long rod) however do want higher compression pistons (min 9.5:1) and prefer max 85.5mm bore. Thanks Alex

    Torque plating cylinder block

So many variables involved. I don't even think it's possible to measure cylinder bore warpage once everything is bolted up at cold start & operating temps...
