if you send it back, shouldn't they refund you the shipping costs also?

see what they say.
worth a try.

usually you would have to pay to send it back to them, and they pay to send it back to you.

thats the way it is usually, when you buy things, esp. overseas.

never know though, could ask.

Well after my 900th phonecall to PTE, I have been informed that my turbo has been repaired and sent back to ExtremePSI... this is today, April 17th, after they received the turbo on March 30. They didn't even look at the thing until Friday which pissed me off.

They were extremely vague as to what caused the failure, but just told me it was an "internal problem" with the turbo and its been repaired under warranty. I asked if it was the thrust bearing and they said yes. I asked what caused/causes that to their reply "I don't know sir."

After getting conflicting opinions from the US forums about my oil feed setup, I'm really stumped as to what I should do. :?

Get a 2nd one to put one when the 1st one blows up and keep sending them back under warranty.

hahaha.

or better yet get the ball bearing one, no weak point :)
