Btw; GT101 sensors from motec... installed, STRAIGHT away got signal... farkin toyota sensors man... get rid of them...

finished the wiring and tucked some of it away.. should be on the road after one last part comes in.....

I think most people would scratch their heads, man. Including a lot of people on here if they didn't know about this or your crazy projects!

Have you considered how much heatsoak you're going to have into your gearbox/back of block? Accounted for venting heat from underneath the turbo/manifold which will get ~800+ C maybe hotter with low airflow behind the engine?

Looks good, just concerned you're going to melt something.
 
nah its fine.... everything that needed to be shielded has been.... gear box is fine... my engine bay is cooler then you think when you pop the bonnet, even with the manifold glowing red......

only thing i am keeping a spare of... it my starter motor... i guarantee it will die....

soo many people worried about the heat back there. it's a similar setup to the evox 4b11T if he's taken any design cue from tthat it should be more than fine.

when it came time to wire it how much was swap in? how much is custom. im a huge fan of the potential mavec has and am seriously considering building a 93/92 hybrid for my coupe. wana try for 300 - 350kw atw i know i could get this fairly easily from a 63. but i like to be different much like yourself.
