pre evo transplant

ran 13.4 exhaust, filter, home made FMIC, and a standard WRX turbo 96 (don't ask ... it was there)

And light the tyres it did! :lol:

it wasn't as butcheress as it sounds ! :?

other than that it was Stock internals, stock AFM, stock throttle body

now just runnin in the new EVO 12psi HOLY SHiTE mid 12's is a good start and it is stock (sorta) ish? :twisted:

a mate had a GSR94 stock with exhaust thats it!! ran 13.30 bastard!

had 170000 ks too ... @ 16psi but that ws it nuthin else!
 
Hey for you 4g93 people i was just cruising ebay and noticed someone has some arias forged pistons for sale $650.

I'd be interested myself but well i'm doing the whole save for a house deal so i can't afford to rebuild at this stage.

Just search for 4g93 on ebay....
 
Yeah i dont think its a blocked cat anymore becaust i have done some pressure tests before and after the cat and it looked like there was a lot of pressure in the exhaust before the cat and not much after...
However every time i do the test there are different resaults, so i conected a lambda meter up to the car and ran it with the exhaust and then without the exhaust, the mixtures didnt change so its showing me that its not the cat that is restricting the power...

So now i'm thinking that my car just doesnt like me and thats why it doesnt want to make power :(

if you have a cat in your exhaust system becareful when you stand behind the car while it is running! the fur can blow into your eyes!

If your cat rattles flow will be restriced as it only needs to change just less than 5 degs and gas sees it as a brick wall.

The other question is does it make boost? and how fast ?

If it makes it quick and to spec. it is not the CAT

check your cam timing!! out one tooth and it will be a PIG
They jump teeth easily if it rolled backwards? Bad or funny start with the key.(Doesn't quite start so you flick the key quick again!)(it could of rolled back off the compression stroke as you flicked the key) though this would still be going in the right direction :?

You probably have checked all this

Its still boosting right...
just doesnt want to make any more power after 18psi...

Think i have it all worked out..

Just got to go back to the dyno some time soon and get some more boost and power :)
