Accord front lip

[AUSVR4]

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of organising a front lip for my Galant. One site said the suitable lip was from 94-98 Accord, however the guy I'm dealing with has let me know that there's 2 models in that year. The 94-95 and 96-97.

The 96-97 looks like this:

And the one I was told was 94-98 is this:

Any ideas?

earlier. the ones i've seen grafted don't have the vents on the corners like the later model... so my money's on the earlier.

i've got plastic and polyurathane versions of the accord lip at the workshop.
i've played with them and from memory, one sort of fit (but u need to cut the middle and extend it)

if i have time, ill check for you

they are botom is a 94-5 model which is a series 1 cd accord

top is a series 2 but im pretty sure thats not genuine,

i can probably help you with an early one

Are you saying either will fit? The basic shape of the bumper looks the same on both of them.

How much for the lip, if you can get it?

The series 2 lip in the pic is a Mugen on or something similar.

as i said mate, probably only the early one,

they do not interchange on the honda so i doubt they will mount the same

Theres a thread on here somewhere. I think tharaka has tried it.

As barry said, its the 2nd pic you have posted. You also have to cut it in the middle and extend it for it to fit properly.

Hey Tharaka that's not from an Accord that's from an early 90's Mazda 626

Gvr4.org is being a pain in the ass tonight but I found a quote from Boostx saying:

the lip is from a Mazda and it not a 100% bolt on.
I had to lengthen the sides and cut it up a lot

i was 99% sure it was from an accord too, my next door neighbour has that accord with the lip and it looks exactly like the one in tharakas pics
