Air filter troubles

Im having some trouble putting pipe from the standard air box to the turbo (i might be missing a connecting plate, from turbo to pipe) does anyone have any pics of the plate that bolts to this turbo and connects to the pipes for the air filter. Also not sure what turbo it is some IHI turbo.

can u put up a pic of what your talking about? especially if you dont know what turbo it is..

If it's what I think you are talking about(for an e3 since it's in that section) then you need the two piece rubber inlet hose with the turbo end being round and the airbox/afm end being an oval shape...

Or you can get a fancy new silicone one piece one from eBay for around $240

I think you might have to go custom piping, or get a custon plate made up.
As mentioned, stock uses a round rubber hose which is held on by hose clamps, which directly connects to the turbo.

Yes i have all the piping im interested in the plate the connects to the above pic of turbo

Thats not a stock Evo turbo, I'd try to find out a bit more about it first. That should help you find the inlet snout that you need.

That looks like a subraru turbo or something? You wont be able to use the stock evo piping on that!

yer thats a IHI turbo.. why the fuck u got such a small turbo? its small then a stock 16G... you will need a custom intake made up for it.

You will Need to get something like this made to fit the above pipe to your turbo.
Should've just got a TD05
