nice...... but how the hell did it get so corroded in the first place... sills doors etc i can understand but the engine bay looked as though the bonnet had been left off for 10 years.. makes me think it had been swimming at some stage for a period of time

Now thats a fkn restoration and bringing the old Celica back form the dead. It looks like it had spent a while submerged in mud lol. Those guys are magicians. I suppose when money is no object you can do virtually anything. 10/10 for the dedication and quality finish on that one.

back in the days of group B rallying cars were stripped to bare metal. all body fillers and sound deadner was taken out then the car was given the thinest of paint ......because paint weights too much. end result was they rusted like crazy, but then again they usually didnt get used for more than a year or so IF they lasted that long!!

this car was awesome in its day and it is fitting of a car that has this history to be restored to this level
