Hey,

I am a bit of a newbe when it comes to the mechanical side of cars.

I was pretty chuffed when I build a pressure inlet tester. 8) (yeah, big deal i know)

Anyway, after retesting everything I went to drive the car and the *#$& clutch wouldn't come up..... like WTF??

Fortunately, Jstyle was in the area and fixed it by bleeding the clutch. (it actually drives better now)

I just wanna know, does this kinda thing happen to everyone or is it just myself.

John

after a month of screwing round after an engine swap to get everything working, it was finally ready for its first test drive, i jump in start her up put the clutch in and the cable snapped

Happens to eveyrone bro. Joys of cars...

GSR Reliable. VR4 Dogshit.

VR4's finally fixed though and doesn't break anymore. God knows how much money later. I've got all the receipts I just won't total them or i'll have a heart attack.

Landcruiser... DREAM. <-- This car costs me nothing other than petrol and servicing. Ever. Period. I love it to death.

BS

lifters, bushes, control arms, swaybar mounts, screws/bolts in shit-hard places to get to, loads of annoying squeaks/ noises just to name a few RECURRING problems. to make matters worse, you cant use GLXI or GLI parts, and GSR specific parts are WAY to expensive

reliable? maybe - it always runs but,
its just a matter of how well it feels like running.

I find a new problem every day just about

Guys, you do realise these cars are getting on now. You cant expect an 18 year old car not to fark out on you at all, unless you buy it off someone who has already got it up to standard. Thats the reason why I bought my car off someone who had already had it complied/rego'd here in aus, because when you go buying imports, its the luck of the draw if the person in Japan kept it in good nick, or not.

Every performance car has its day!

i agree dre

my vr4 was the only car out of my friends that never died..
untill i pulled it apart =)

it was good for 1 1/2 years though! on 22psi! stock motor
