OK so the oil slowly leaking from the top of my turbo has made me decide to re-do the belts (plus the power steering belts terrible squealing is starting to get annoying) when I am pulling everything off to add some sealant.

Incidentally, what should I use on the threads of oil fittings?

I can't read the part number on them anymore, and the people at my local parts stores don't really know.. so can someone tell me the part number for the alternator and power steering belts? Also the brand would help :D They have bosch at supercheap, dunno at repco they keep them behind the counter.

Cheers.

Can't take the belts in, they're on the car and I only have one.

I have screw in oil fittings on the top of the turbo (right angle screws into turbo, then a big braided oil line goes to the filter housing). I don't want a sealant as such, just an oil/high temp equivalent to plumbers tape.. something like that?

EDIT: Belt is solved... using my enormous brain power I went to the bosch website :D

Alternator is 4PK990, PS is 13A0675.

Surprising that the repco people didn't have the book? Weird.

I have loctite pipe thread sealant. It's really good shit. About $15 a tube. I just used it on all my oil and water fittings.

You can come and borrow it if ya want.
