I know this is a stupid question but I'm tired of looking at how tacky my engine bay looks because I've used a milk bottle cap to block off the rerun hose. But now I figured out that there's actually a plug to do this (blanking plug) I'm just wondering what size do I need and has anyone used one before? Because the guy at auto one says that I should leave it how I got it because completely blocking up the hole will make it worse I don't know why?

Measure the internal diameter of the return hose and buy a plug that size.

If you're running an atmo BOV then you need to plug that hose completely anyway, otherwise you'll have a vacuum leak and the car will run like crap.

.here we go again...
Measure the hole you want to block would be a genius idea.
Then another genius thought I came up with would be to buy a blanking bit the same size as the hole I had previously measured.

true, that's exactly how it's running. Thanks for heads up

I have a turbosmart one here. It's (approx) 42mm x 21mm and 39mm across on the bottom.
