why the hell am i jealous? i could of bought it when dre didnt want it.. this was 3 weeks prior to when travis bought it.. so i could of purchased it.. i was with dre when he went down to inspect it and i was the one that pointed out to him that it was an illegally registered car.. hence why dre didnt buy it... but i didnt want to because it was illegally registered.. and i wasnt game on risking $7000 worth of mods i would of poured into.. and get pulled over by a TMU and told my VIN numbers are now black listed.

If it has been engineered etc.. i apologise for what i said but when i saw it ages ago it wasnt engineered and it had just had aussie plates put on it..

Wouldnt going from an Evo to a cyborg be like 2 steps backwards? IRS compared to solid.. 2 litre compared to 1.6.. stronger box/better ratio's.. compared to highway ratio's ?...... I cant work out here you think im jealous by me pointing out what i know of the car... ok its a cheap ride for 3k.. but its not my cup of tea.. ie the way its been registered and all that..

Lets be real here.. your NEVER going to get back what you put in the vehicle.. if you spent 10k on a car.. you would be lucky enough to get 5k ontop of the value of the car.. unless ofcourse you find someone who is willing to pay that (sometimes there is).

In regards to that 215kw borg.. and 168kw evo.. even with LSD's.. i made 224.6kw on the same day that Jamie made his 168kw.. and notice how my evo never ran an 11 with me in it?... mind you it was a 1340kg full weight evo.

This car wasn't pointed out to me that it was illegally registered, I saw it for myself with my own eyes, local VIN I.D stamped onto an import. 1+1=2.


These cars are rare, and even if you did get snapped out you could get around it, because all you'd have to do is get someo import approval papers for the car thats already registered here, and get it rego'd under the 15y.o rule, as its an '88 GSR.


Its easily worth 10k.

Jamie has proved that a borg can't put more than 180 odd kw to the ground without lsds. And this one isn't lsd'ed either.

I think OzBorg has over 180kw atw and doesnt have to many problems putting the power down.

12.3 at speed cut too and his car tipped the scales at 1300kg, gotta love 100kg boot installs :lol:

Beats the hell out of doing all that work to the one you already have (you could just sell it off as a 1.6 turbo). Being that sivart's car is already 4g63 and engineered it's saving you 10k right there.
