im after a tuner in brisi who can and has tuned ecmlink. im getting to the stage where im pretty frustrated with my car. just want to get it tuned so that i can enjoy it. looking to do it asap before i get fed up and decide to sell it.

cheers guys

I was going to ask the same question.
The guy who bought my VR4 needs it fine tuned as it's running a bit rich.
Was hoping someone on here might know who I could refer him to.

Nigel have you fixed the mechanical problems that were causing issues with it before?
If so, and it's 100% ready to be tuned I can do it for you.
Fuel pump ok? Logging cable? Wide band etc?

hey tim, fuel pumps have been rewired, new data cable arrived and wideband works. its still off by .4 tho. the only thing left to do is sort out my map sensor, i fitted a new one and it reads the same. i checked the vac line + port and its not clogged or blocked. wondering if ive maybe wired it wrong?

its pretty easy to do the idle and cruise settings, getting the closed loop settings pasted over to the open loop settings.
the ecmlink page tells you how in the tutorials section.
that will leave only the full throttle open loop section to set up...maybe get that set on a dyno.

before i switched to sd i was capable of sorting out my idle, cruise and boost. wasnt the greatest tune but it ran fine. its only after ive switched to sd that ive been stumped! tried playing around with it but i need to see other peoples maps and how they went about starting one. i think once i have a basic map that runs alright and ive watched it been done ill be able to adjust it from there.

I had Vonney do mine when he and CBGSR worked at DynoTunz. Hoping to be down before mid next month for a new tune with the new turbo/cams/injectors. if your keen I will hit Vonney up when time is closer and when we have a Dyno hired for the day.

i had spoken to vonney a few weeks ago and he said that he'd be able to do it and that hed get back to me when he had a dyno sorted out. i had some gearbox issues few days later and had to cancel, tried calling him after that and have left him a message but he hasnt gotten back to me. not sure if he thought i was dicking him around or if hes not interested.

He's not at the moment in the tuning industry, so he mosy likely hasnt forgot you, prob lining a few tunes up on the one day. I'll be talking to him in the next week.

Vons not the easiest to get a hold of these days as his working full time and uni so it's hard for him to tune aswell. But be patient he is good at what he does I will never let anyone else touch mine again! If you can't contact him let me no we will try and organize something

Vonney aswell. seen some good results from his tunes.
If there is enough interest, we could possible look at a group tune and dyno runs at the end of the day.

hey banno watch out how much you push that motor, it has stock internals. you up the boost too much the motor WILL let go. i should be good for a group tune hypo4.

yeah, i turned the boost right back down.... gonna have a tinker tomorrow and see if those seals are good...

Talked to Vonney tonight. he's going to see if the Sat 6th Oct is available for Dyno hire. Possibly 2-3 spots still available, will need these spots confirmed and as difinite as the dyno will be pre-paid for and will be quite peed if it comes to a no show. Will be approx/around/give or take $150/hour.
Let me know if you keen and what ECU.
He has the programs plus my mapping for start up for ECM Link on semi stock EVO3 and I believe Haltech.
Let me know
