Calder Park 10.99 and 130MPH Rules

Calder park have now introduced that if you car runs 10.99 or 130 MPH, you will need to fit a Roll Cage and maybe even a shoute.

How bad does that suck :?
 
that's a standard ANDRA requirement. I don't see how it sucks.

Most 10second cars are caged already anyway. There's very few cars that frequent calder that run sub 11 second passes.
 
It does b/c now you have to tear up a perfectly nice street car. Cage it up etc.

I think it suck really bad for some to run a number then have to convert it into a semi race car
 
Simple solution would be simply to not drag at calder again? There's plenty more places to drag.

Or alternatively participate in some REAL racing and hit the track? :p

Dont think many people would like to travel all the way to heathcote.
I guess it time to cage it up

Sounds like the 1.8ltr comp is going to heat up once again in OZ.

I hope mine ius ready by the end of the year. :twisted:
