^^ the man speaks the truth. I dislike the power delivery in the wrx even with the variable vane turbo.

That and it understeers like a FWD.

not all of them are boring to drive... or lame power delivery

Timmeh, when you've driven an evo in anger you will discover that ALL wrx's are both lame power delivery (yay for a big LUMP at redline) and understeer like fwd's.

dont get me wrong, i have a couple of mitsis and love them, but do like other cars too.
and subi's are accually really easy to work on.

and timmeh's rex isnt like most. cant really comment on how it handles, havent been in hills or anything in it. but its f'kn fast.

Also have had multiple vr4's, there was an e6 in the driveway for a while there, a w124 e55amg, etc etc.

I was stating that I detest the handling of the wrx. And that no matter which way you poke a stick at it, the "blob" of power at the top end of a boxer's rev range from the turbo is not comparable to linear power delivery on the I4 of a 4g63 or similar.

Porsche boxers aside, i'm yet to be seriously excited by a wrx and i've been in my fair share of quick ones.

That said, these days if I want speed I get on the motorbike. 200hp and 200kg is instant recipe for win.

i can assure you guys both tim and i are pretty light hearted when it comes to pretty much anything, so any comments made arent real serious. everyone is entitled to there opinions, thats what forums are for.
