Yeah just say that you question the accuracy of their systems and if they could guarantee that the system is 100% correct. And supply substantiated proof through an audit!

Then make sure your solicitor asks that all current fines (for everyone) be held until substantiation can be provided. :wink:

That will get them :lol: or better still ask for a documented process that outlines the way they issue the tickets with timelines. Make them work hard for it. :lol:

Hey at the end of the day they spend millions on this system and it is in their best interests to find out if there is any problems with it as well.

ive heard of people getting off because the cop didnt have a hat on... was a long time ago though... so the loophole may have been closed... the reason they get off is because they are out of uniform they can not act as a police officer *shrug* no harm in writing a letter but i dont think you will get anywhere without going to court and then your probably gonna incriminate yourself anyway

Well after ALOT of letter writing to the MORONS at the magistrates court who can't read properly I finally get this back in the mail:

I have the feeling they're going to let me off it- they're not going to want to take it to court surely??

That's like saying, you got us this time but don't think the last of it.

If it does go to court, explain the amount of undue stress this issue has caused to you, your family and livelyhood.

The best bullshit fine I've recieved is for going through an amber traffic light. When I recieved the fine it said i went through a red light..

I received a fine from a well known officer a few years back.

I let him write the fine out for which i asked "What is the fine for exactly?"

Speeding of course.

Once ticket was written i said "Ok, may i see your radar reading please to confirm my speed?"

Nope, none available,

Ok, how about speed camera?

Nope

Ok. How about in car radar?

Nope, we dont need any of that to know you were speeding.

I then stated "Thats fine, so you are assuming i was speeding without having any evidence, Hey im happy with that, im sure that in court you wont have a case, but thanks for the fine and you both have a great evening."

at that point, went inside, documented the complete conversation, officers details etc. Posted letter in, month later had a letter stating like above saying that it will go to court and i will receive a summons.

Well..... that was some 3 years ago now.. I think after 12months they just throw it out as nothing has come of it..
