Talking to the car fixer guy just then, he reckons it's fairly likely either my cat has nothing in it or is dead. I have a 3 inch full stainless exhaust, anyone got a suggestion as to a decent cheap cat converter, ie, an OEM one I can get from a wrecker, to suit? Are SS commodore cat's pretty big? I dunno, what's everyone using.

I'm using a MetalCat but it ain't cheap!
Full stainless steel and the highest flowing legal muffler on the market.

Hmm three fifty.. I mean I want good stuff for the car buuuut on the other hand, if I don't get it checked out soon I will have to have a complete roadworthy again instead of a simple check-off of all the stuff. How much was installation? From memory my cat is welded in.
