I was on my way to DjB's house, noticed the smell of petrol when I warmed my car up this morning, didnt think anything of it. I'm driving along, and all of a sudden I need petrol, which was kinda weird cos I put $30 in the other day and i'd only travelled 80kms since.

I'm driving along, hello, the clutch is starting to slip, or so I thought.

I pull into the gassie, and notice smoke coming out of my car. I immediatly think the g/box is leaking fluid onto the exhaust, so I make a B-line for home asap.

Pull into my garage and see a pool of PETROL on the ground, and notice that its not g/box fluid but PETROL leaking onto my exhaust!

FURK i'm lucky, as ive got NO insurance either.

Jezuz! Where was it leaking from? Return line or something?

I'm not 100% sure, its going to have to go on a hoist or something, it must be return because according to my fuel press gauge, all was ok, theres no sign of any leakage near or around fpr or rail.

I would have made the 6 oclock news for sure, the gas station I pulled into was packed.

Thank god I carry a fire extinguisher, but thank god even more that I didnt have to use it.

Praise the LORD!

Yeh very scary stuff. And just goes to show how easy something like that could happen to just about anyone, as a car enthusiast I'd assume that you take good care of your car and stay ontop of any problems pretty thoroughly.

You are one smart boy! a $50 investment in a fire extinguisher is a must for any high performance car! never know when you can save the day in a car accident or something.

Apparently Amberley fucked with it too, they ended up re-doing it all after trikfab did it, i'll ring amberley in the morning, but i'm not keen to get it towed back to danglingschlong.

A $2 0ring on injector number 2 almost cost me my car, you guys should seriously consider buying a fire extinguisher.

who knows why but after 1 month of use, the 0-ring perished.

big ups to JSTYLE for lending a brother a hand

Hey Dre that beats me in the lucky stakes, somebody upstairs is looking after you more than you think m8y, all you would have needed was a flame from the screamer pipe and TOAST. As for the extinguisher, hi-performance or stock, carry one, i think they should come out on all cars factory.

Id be kneecapping someone for that.......
