Head bolt washer did the job guys, started bedding the clutch in today, so far it feels perfect, good pedal and not too laborious under the foot.

Measured the washer with the vernier calipers and it came to just on 3.19mm.

Amazing how much of a difference it made with the travel of the clutch fork and disengagement.

Make sure the clutch plate isn't contacting the pressure plate fingers at full depression, that could give you issues. And check for clutch drag too.

Yep, had a look through the window in the bellhousing with a torch with a mate pressing the clutch down and it appears to all clear now. There was a mark on the clutch fork where it was contacting with the inner bellousing before (looks like it has been for a while).

So far it's all good but until it's bedded in and I start giving it high revs I won't really know I spose...
