hi my name is steve and iam from perth was just looking for any help locating a good haltech tuner in perth had some dodgy work done on my 89 j spec and given a lot of bad advice that cost me more than i want to remember and bought things that i didnt need hence the haltech e8 anyway to cut a long story short a really good friend of mine rebuilt the engine for me and put in a few extras and now iam looking for someone to check the intial base tune to see if everything is running good befor i run it in any help would be much appriated

just so happens I have a haltech E8 for sale. It has a tune in it....if you have software you could download that.

thanks but the haltech i have is pure over kill but due to some bad advice and a workshop wanting to make money out of me and telling me that the factory ecu were faulty and hard to find and that if i found a second hand one it would also eventually break and that the cost of a second hand one was almost the cost of a stand alone ecu i was naive for trusting this person at the end of the day i was just after a nice example with a bit of go nothing extreme sorry for the long winded explanations

Rpw have been good for me as well for tuning had some other work done there a while back and found them pricey

yeah i agree they have done heaps of work for me as well all good but recently i have been less than happy

yeah my problem was a lack of knowlegde about turbos and far to trusting and befor you know it empty bank account and car still runs like a pos

ill give them a go. i tried the other segestions and none tune haltechs

that would be great i work away on a 6 and 1 roster so i wont be back for a while ive booked the vr4 in with them twice and have cancelled at short notice i just sent them an email on wenesday asking if i can rebook
