cruise ideas

hi all, will have a few hours spare on saturday just wondering if anyone has any ideas on nice cruise route? from southside of brisbane most prob, not overly worried where really but wouldnt mind just a nice drive. Have another gsr that wants to head out too, so maybe if there is a couple maybe just a cruise and stop somewhere and get a bite to eat.

p.s. off top of my head was thinking maybe mt neebo and out through the back and around, just not to sure which would be the best route, or even out past wivenhoe dam etc..

I'd take the EVO2 for a cruise, let me know when and where

The MT Nebo run would be cool just not sure how good my crappy D2's will go though

when i get my licence back im going too organise a cruise too surfers paradise soo ill keep everyone imformed when it gets closer too it

Go to Beaudesert, head south through Rathdowney towards Woodenbong on the Mount Lindsay Highway but turn around just after you cross the border. Some great tight and twisty roads for about 20 kms and usually pretty quiet traffic wise.

lol i got d2's as well, they dont seem to be too bad (not sure what the ratings on the springs are though) pretty sure they are different because they arnt that stiff and have been playing with the damper a little now as well.
unfort i gotta bail this plan, have just had something come up for sat, so i guess i will wait for the next cruise.

just had a look at this one, seems pretty good.

stay on mt lindsy highway then turn right onto boonah rathdowney rd, follow up to boonah (turn right onto ipswich
boonah rd) follow that till you hit cunningham highway at yamanto, turn right follow onto warrego/ipswich highway then ontowards home.

thats what im thinking, pending on weather. if so prob leave browns plains macca's 9am should do then nice cruise.

hope u like potholes cos there is plenty around ipswich. Make sure your car doesnt get swallowed by a pothole
