Once again, an intake is just a piece of pipe!
If you get what you pay for then the FP one that I got should have cost me about $20 as it is made in exactly the same way as the cheaper ones on EBay and it just has a huge margin thrown at it because it has the FP name associated with it.
I have owned both and there is no quality difference at all between them.

I beg to differ on that one...The inside of one of the chrome intakes one I had previously was full of dags and pits on the inside...it was rough as...My Fp one is smooth as a babys arse !

I did notice more top end in it. I'm using 4inch to match the turbo intake. It makes a hell of a spool noise on full throttle

^4" ftw although would mik-e not be better off going 3" as his turbo intake would only be 3"?

Agreed Mitch unless he can find a nice transition piece to stop turbulence.
the bigger the better with the intake pipe and filter.
I have done tests on stocks vs larger and the amount of boost the turbo can produce is massive.
even if the intake to the turbo is only 3" I would still go 4"
I ran a 4" intake pipe up to the stock td05 compressor housing
edit: but I did have a nice ram tube to go from the stock size up to the 4"
