Anyone had experience with these on Galants saw a good review of them on lancers.

And there are 2 different models for Galants,
M12 is for the Galant VR4
and
M13 is for the Galant VR4 4wd.

Did the Vr4 come out in 2wd??

Where is best place to get them??

wasnt there some really bad reviews of these that people were talking about a while back? If youre looking for coilovers cade id stick to Hotbits.

d2 are exactly the same as the g4 ones just jap sells

its 'galant vr4 4wd'

they're only bad because of the spring rates they come with from factory
you hvae to ask for specific ones, that arent as stiff, and that arent meant for rwd cars

so the $1500 G4 ones are ok if you get the right spring rate?
i'd say so, yes

theyre height, camber and damper adjustable
look at the spring rates for tein super street coilovers, for a 4wd car, and get similar ones, i'd go for stiffer in the rear though

If your looking for some coilovers I may have some for sale, it depends on if barry wants them or not.......

they go wayyy lower than lowered springs.

This pic was taken with about 1" to go. Its poor quality but I can tell you now, it was pretty damn low.

i really dont know. Its not overly stiff though, quite a confortable ride.

i have a set of tein HA's which were practically new, scored these for $1000 and they are the best money i have spent on my car.

ride is a little rough, no where near as harsh as i was lead to beleive coilovers would be, car now handles like its on rails.

When I got my hotbits, the spring rates were - Front: 8 kg/mm, rear - 4 kg/mm. But I found that the front shocks couldn't really control the springs unless set full hard. I have since changed the front springs to 6kg/mm and would highly recommend it. Slightly more body roll but the shocks are halfway in their adjustment and control them much better. Ride comfort is fine for lond trips, even over bumpy outback roads.

This is on a std weight J spec vr4, no subs or other unnecessary weight.

for a 4wd car, wouldn't you want a higher rate sping on the back so it squats less?

D2 Springrate for GVR4 4wd : 8.7F 7.2R

How stiff would that be compared to my GAB adjustables turned up full??

Cheers
Cade
