DBA Gold Series, cross drilled & slotted

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

Stay away from Drilled rotors, allows the heat to penetrate through to the middle of the face and cause early warping. You won't notice not having drilled unless you do some real serious track work/racing.
Slotted will be good enough.

Yeah I think the price difference between gold and the 4000 series (fronts at least on galants/early evos) is not much. Why take the tarted up cheap option?

How about RDA slotted ? anyone used them before.
I met a guy who uses RDA slotted in a club circuit car.

After turning the centres of my Ozracing wheels from white to a burnt yellow due to the heat transferred from the disc into the wheels, the next set of front rotors I buy (if I keep it long enough to wear my RDA's out) will be a 2 piece setup.

dba don't make an off the shelf 2 piece kit for our cars rob otherwise i would have put those on mine. nothing to say they can't do a custom job though

When I checked about 4 years ago, they used to stock DBA5000 ones for Evo3's, price was of course on the ridiculous side of things.

nah you cant get 5000s in 276mm anymore. i have 294mm rotors on mine from an evo 4 and plan to get alloy hats made up to suit the 5000s that you can still get.
